Abstract

Bacillus thuringiensis (Berliner) is the entomopathogenic bacterium more studied and broadly used as microbial control agent. Its nematicidal activity is caused by the toxin complex produced during the growth period, mainly b exotoxins and d endotoxins. This paper deal on the toxicity evaluation of six B. thuringiensis isolates of Plant Protection Research Institute (INISAV) collection against Meloidogyne incognita in vivo conditions. There were different behaviours between the isolates; they showed a reduction of the nematode infectivity. There were not correspondence between eggs masses and quantity of nodules also as a consequence of the delayed infection of roots Bacillus thuringiensis toxins produced nematostatic and disorientate effects under the evaluates

condictions.
