Uropodina mites (Acari: Mesostigmata) from Brazil

Abstract
The results of a puntual Study of Uropodina: Mesostigmata from Brazil are presented. Five sites where selected in the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais in order to collect soil fauna. Also were revised material collected by posgraduated students of Agriculture Superior Scola “Luis de Queiroz” of São Paulo State University as well as the collection of mites from the Department of Entomology and Acarology of this school. 17 families where determinated with 19 genera and approximately 77 morphospecies, most of them new species.
