Distribución espacial de Diaphorina citri kuwayama (hemiptera: psyllidae) sobre lima persa (Citrus latifolia tanaka)
Main Article Content
Abstract
The influence of the climatic factors on population behavior of Diaphorina citri Kuwayama (Hemiptera: Psyllidae) was studied, also its distribution for strata and quadrants in citrus. The work was developed in a field of 1 ha planted with Citrus latifolia Tanaka var. lima Persa clone SRA-58, of two years. Samplings were realized weekly in 25 trees distributed in two crossed diagonals in the field and it was evaluated 12 buds by plant taken at random. D. citri caused a bigger affectation in months from April to June; May was the most buds affectation month (42.2%) and also of larger quantity of insects (6-7 insects for bud). Smaller incidence of the plague was observed in March (9.5% of affected buds). Mean temperature and relative humidity did not present significant correlation values with D. citri population, while precipitations had influence on decreasing the plague. Mean stratum of the plants and north quadrant presented the biggest percentages of affected buds while the less affected one was the low stratum and west quadrant. 51.2% of eggs settings were in mean stratum of the plant in north quadrant followed by the high stratum (34.69%).
