Patrones sinópticos que condicionan el desarrollo de Alternaria solani Sor. en el cultivo de Solanum tuberosum L. en Horquita

Abstract
The objective of the present study was to conduct an analysis of the behavior of Alternaria solani Sor (early blight) in the cultivation of potato Solanum tuberosum L. and the determination of the meteorological conditions of greater association with the occurrence of the disease in Horquita Agricultural Enterprise for six seasons (2006-2012). Data to carry out this work were taken of the information gathered in the reports of annual campaigns carried out by the Estación de Protección de Plantas of Yaguaramas data were obtained from Aguada de Pasajeros Meteorological Station. Potato early blight affected the 100 % of the studied campaigns and the highest levels of incidence happened in the campaign 2007-2008. The first apparition and development of the disease in all seasons were influenced by the behavior of the climatic variables: temperature and relative humidity. Two synoptic patterns associated with the occurrence A. solani in potato cultivation. In the same occur on Cuba’s influence migratory anticyclones that travel east to make way for frontal systems. The results contribute to strengthening the system of management of this disease in Cienfuegos province.
