Actividad antagónica de cepas autóctonas de Trichoderma spp. frente a fitopatógenos de suelo
Main Article Content
Abstract
The antagonistic effect of two Trichoderma autochthonous strains, T-916 and T-801, was determined in vitro against strains of Fusarium oxysporum, Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotium rolfsii and Phytophthora nicotianae. The antagonistic capacity of Trichoderma spp. tested was determined by dual culture of the four soil-borne plant pathogens. Changes in cultural characters of involved species, formation of reproduction structures, pigment diffusion into the culture medium and morphology of the species in the interaction zone were evaluated as indicators. Antagonist capacity of rolling up or modifying the pathogenic mycelium was corroborated. Strains T-801 and T-916 of Trichoderma spp. showed antagonistic capacity against pathogens evaluated as well as strains used as positive controls.
