Por constituir una temática de sumo interés para especialistas, se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica sobre las virosis diferenciadas como emergentes, no presentes en Cuba, pero que afectan al cultivo del tomate (Solanum lycopersicum L.). In general, emerging diseases are those of new appearance, or whose incidence and geographic distribution have increased very rapidly, while re-emerging are those that, although well known, can give rise to epidemics at certain times. A bibliographical search about emerging virus diseases, not present in Cuba, but that affect tomato crop (Solanum lycopersicum L.) was made, because that constitute a great interesting topic to specialists.
