To facilitate the diagnosis of the elements of the (BAux), a methodology was used that proposes the use of indicators, evaluated using a degree scale, where the last value represents the closest approximation to the sustainability of the production system. As a result, it was obtained that the farms that are sustained in a traditional agriculture model (CCS), presented a greater contribution to the management of (BAux). This makes them farms with a greater capacity for self-regulation and ecological resilience against agricultural pests and other extreme events, in contrast to farms supported by a conventional model (UBPC), which presented a lower level of contribution. It was also evidenced that the designs and mana- gement with the highest level of adoption, were perimeter living fences and seminatural environments. Meanwhile, live barriers, reservoir plants, internal living fences and tolerance of natural areas were characterized by a lower level of adoption.</dc:description>
